There is a pivot point on the back of the stand’s neck which holds the case and iPad in place. The two round-shaped cylinders with a black stripe need to be tightened up. There may be times where you may want the stand to not tilt at all. In this case, you tighten the cylinders all the way. Other times you may want it looser so you can freely tilt up or down. If you’re still having difficulty getting your Electrostand to work properly, email our support staff for help. 

Electrostand does support and hold the iPad 4 but it does not charge since the iPad 4 uses the lightening connector. In order to charge your iPad 4, you will need the 30 pin to lightening adaptor found here.

Yes, Electrostand works with the iPad 3. Each Electrostand purchase includes two cases to support all three generations of iPads

Yes. Electrostand works with the iPad1 and iPad2. In addition, each purchase includes two cases to support all iPad types.

No, Electrostand does not include cases to support the iPad mini at this time. 

No, Electrostand only fits the iPad. However, if certain Android tablets become popular in the coming months, we will create new cases that will work with Electrostand.  

Currently black is the only color available, but new colors and custom designed cases will be available for purchase in the months ahead. Join our mailing list to be notified when new cases are released.  

Currently black is the only color available for the iPad 1. We do however have black and white cases available for the iPad 2 and iPad 3.  

No, Electrostand comes with everything needed to work properly out of the box. It works seamlessly with your original Apple power wall outlet.
